Feeding children @1,568 by B-Force 568!

Yes, there were a total of 1,568 public school children fed by Blasert Force 568, Inc. troops at the San Fernando Central School, North Poblacion, San Fernando, Cebu, on 04 Dec. 2023. Added to this are 56 School Teachers, 34 B-Force buddies and an undetermined number of parents. Altogether, there were more than 1,700 people.

This activity was made possible with the support from the Knights of Astoria, New York, the various chapters of the United Federation of Fil-Am Educators (UNIFFIED) in the U.S. and Megaworld International.

The glaringly hot mid-day sun, the scorching heat of the cooking fire, the enormous task of food preparation and the swiftness required to distribute them, pushed the troops to near physical exhaustion. But we persisted, was able to beat the clock and delivered the results in time for the children's lunch. Mission accomplished by 1245H. What a great achievement! But we ended up with no food left to eat so back to cooking again, this time, with rice noodles.

The recap we had with the teachers' meeting later had them all singing praises and extending thanks for all the efforts we made. The impact was so great that a lot of school principals and teachers present during their meeting requested for similar activities done in their school. It all depends if we can gather enough resources to execute it.
