2nd Batch PDEA-Accredited Lecturers' Training

Today starts our 1st day of the 3-Sunday training for our 2nd batch of PDEA-Accredited Lecturers. Speakers from PDEA RO7 were Intelligence Agent V Thessa A. Tiuzen, Acting Assistant Regional Director; Ms. Leia A. Alcantara, Chief, Preventive Education & Community Involvement (PECI) Section; Atty. Jannen A. Gabunada, Assistant Chief, Legal & Prosecution Unit; and Intelligence Officer 1 Philip London Noynay, PECI Officer, took turns in discussing the various topics outlined for the day.
Achilles "Kit" Coronel, Founder & Chairman of Blasert Force 568, Inc. and a member of the Cebu City Police Office - Advisory Group for Police Transformation & Development (CCPO-AGPTD) spoke about the importance of the PDEA-Accredited Lecturers' role in conducting the Drug Abuse Prevention Education lectures to as many communities as they could, as part of PDEA's (illegal drugs) demand reduction strategy. He thanked the support of its official partner, the United Federation of Fil-Am Educators (UNIFFIED), Inglewood CA Chapter led by its President, Engr. Richard Maghanoy & Executive Vice President, Dr. Gem Juvi Oca. Dr. Oca sent a video message to the participants which was played prior to the start of the training.
It was a highly interactive and enjoyable training with all trainees participating actively to the various activities. The training session ended at 1700H as everyone was looking forward to our next training session on Sunday, 10 August 2025.
