A Surprise Visit to ACCOR Farms

Monday, 29 July 2024, Cebu City Environment & Natural Resources (CCENRO) Head – OIC, Sir Reymarr Z. Hijara & company made a surprise visit to ACCOR Farms in Galaban, Poblacion, Borbon, Cebu owned by Blasert Force 568 Inc.’s Founder & Chairman, Achilles “Kit” Coronel.

Kit showed them the various activities happening in the farm from composting, swine breeding, heritage chicken layers, fish & lobster growing, vegetable gardens, agar trees, nursery and native tree seedlings planted in the farm.  He also discussed the various natural practices adopted by the farm particularly in making its own organic fertilizers and pesticides.  Further, Kit discussed its on-going tree-growing activities with the various barangays in Cebu City as well as with the different towns in Cebu province.

Sir Reymarr on the other hand discussed the various programs of CCENRO from its implementation of E.S.A.P. (Environmental Sustainability Action Plan) required from all business establishments in Cebu City for business permit renewals, the works done by the river troopers assigned to clear the rivers of all trashes & debris, the planting, growing & nurturing of Philippine Native Trees in collaboration with the business sector, schools, volunteers and NGOs, the management of our coastal areas, the planned community livelihood program thru integrated natural farming methods, waste segregation, management and disposal, renewable energy, and many others.

The visit ended with Sir Reymarr expressing CCENRO’s great appreciation for the works done by Blasert Force 568 Inc. in contributing to the protection and conservation of our environment as he hopes to continue to work & collaborate closely with Blasert Force 568, Inc. for its future programs and activities.  He also expressed his wish that more organizations will participate and help monitor & implement the Cebu City’s various environmental laws & ordinances as well as with the various programs of CCENRO.
