B-Force 568 - Knights of Rizal (Astoria, N.Y.) Partnership.

Blasert Force 568 strengthens its partnership with the Knights of Rizal, Astoria, New York in a meeting held last Thursday 28 Dec. 2023 at the Seda Hotel, Ayala Central Block, Lahug I.T. Park, Cebu City. The early breakfast meeting was with Sir Joselito Jay Cayabyab, Founder & Chapter President of the Knights of Rizal, Astoria, New York and incoming Area Commander for the Knights of Rizal for the State of New York! Also present were Sir Jay's wife, Sir Favio Caringal - Chapter President, Homepoint Village, Angono, Rizal and his wife and his fellow retired Air Force Officer, Sir Buddy Eulota.

We discussed strong collaboration with both of our organizations as we agreed to have further discussions with Sir Buddy (who is based at the Mactan Air Base) for future activities with Blasert Force 568 Inc.

Yesterday, 30 December 2023, the Blasert Force 568 Inc. Consolacion Cebu Command held its Christmas Party attended by the various commands all over Cebu. As it coincided with the 127th death anniversary of our national hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal, Chairman Kit Coronel took some time to explain our partnership with the Knights of Rizal as we also share common ideals. 568 which stands for Freedom, Care & Strength is similar with what Dr. Jose Rizal fought for: Our FREEDOM from the Spanish colonial rule as he fought for social and political reforms due to his overwhelming CARE for our country/nation which gave him STRENGTH to continue advancing his ideals until he was martyred on 30 Dec. 1896 at Bagumbayan (now Luneta), Manila.

Many thanks to the Knights of Rizal, Astoria Chapter, New York for their continued support to Blasert Force 568 Inc. This is captured, in not so many words, by the printing of this tarpaulin commemorating the life & works of Jose Rizal during the Christmas Party. Certainly, there are more to the pictures than meets the eye.
