B-Force 568: Serving communities, creating opportunities.

True to its stated purposes & advocacies, Blasert Force 568 introduced the International Property Ambassadors' Program of Megaworld International to its members. Those who responded were invited to attend the soft launch of Megaworld Mactan Newtown's newest project: the Costa Vida Residential Resort held at Belmont Hotel, Saturday, 16 Dec. 2023. Participants were not only introduced to the upcoming project but was also given a detailed overview of what Megaworld International is.
Why Megaworld? And why not? Wouldn't it be nice to be representing a quality company who is delivering best results in various categories like: PH Best Developer Hall of Fame, 3x Outstanding Developer, 3x Best Developer, Best Company to work for in Asia, PH's Best Employer's List, etc. etc. In fact, Megaworld received more than 200 awards over the last 5 years!
And few know that apart from properties, Megaworld Corp. (thru its holding company Alliance Global Group Inc.) owns Fundador/Emperador (distilleries), McDonald's (52%), Traveller's International (gaming & entertainment with hotel brands like Mariott, Hilton, Sheraton, Maxims, New World Resorts, etc.) & Infracorp. (infrastructure like airport runway, monorail/skytrain, etc.). It also owns three (3) skycrapers in Madrid, Spain and a number of vineyards. Now, that says a lot about the company one should be very proud of.
At 4 p.m., participants were treated with a delightful "merienda" of flat noodles in white sauce with a piece of chiffon cake and unlimited coffee & fruit juice. This was followed by a quick tour of the township's display area where a miniaturized replica of the whole 30-hectare Mactan Newtown development can be seen.
At 5:30 p.m., the group proceeded to Savoy Hotel for the training arranged for Megaworld International Asia Pacific Team 3 where the group belongs. Around 50+ people were at the event with participants coming from Australia, Middle East & North America. Ms. Pilar Pilapil (yes, the actress) delivered a very emphatic speech about reflections: the need to reflect about life's meaning and purpose. Later on, Ms. Marivic M. Acosta, Executive Vice-President & Managing Director also caught up with the participants after a very filling & sumptuous buffet dinner.
Back at the (training) session, the group were shown the very rewarding commission structures and incentive programs. (The grand prize for 2023 Global Conference raffle was a brand-new Toyota Rush SUV). One of the major incentives for next year is an all-expenses paid trip to Australia in May 2024. The above event/activity was initiated and made possible thru the efforts of Megaworld International's Country Manager for Australia, our very own Country Ambasssador for Australia, BF Col. Juferoan "Jofel" Peralta. Many thanks, Madame Jofel for your efforts, full support and the VIP treatment.
The question is: are these doable and achievable? I say yes because I have experienced it myself being part of the Global Conference qualifiers in 2014 where we were treated to an all-expenses paid trip coming from Australia to attend a 2-day conference at Resorts World Pasay City, 2-day Regional Planning & Team-building workshop in Boracay + 1 day tour in Cebu staying at Radisson Blu.
