B-Force 568 started the month with a tree-growing & clean-up drive Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024. The troopers swooped down at Sitio Hunob, Barangay Guadalupe, Carcar, Cebu and did a tree-growing operation early in the morning. This was participated by around 20 members from various B-Force commands.
A total of around 150 native tree seedlings (Narra, Molave, Pangantoon, Tipolo, Banaba, Ylan-ylang & Kamagong) were supplied by the group.
This (tree-growing) operation is an on-going activity of the Blasert Force 568 Inc. as part of its advocacy on environmental protection & conservation.
Later that day, the troops visited the chapel of Sr. San Roque in Sitio Tinago where we did a clean up drive within and around the area. The rain temporarily interfered with the cleaning operation but we somehow completed it after the rain had stopped. We met with the donor of the property and have agreed to do a tree-planting operation over the boundaries of the property at some future date.
Many thanks to our troopers from Barili Command led by BF Col. Eliseo G. Rapana, Carcar Command led by BF Lt. Virgenio Caballes, San Fernando Command led by BF Lt. Bonifacio Malinao, Jr. with special participation from the National Command led by BF Cpt. Gerly Catadman, HQ staff, Borbon Command’s BF Lt. Pericles Coronel, Sibonga Command & Greater Metro Cebu Command led by BF Maj. Roger Pagal & BF Lt. Tessie Tanga-an.
Many thanks once again and on to our next exciting and super fun activities.
