Cebu City, Philippines — January 10, 2026

Blasert Force 568 Inc. successfully held a community feeding program today for residents of Sitio Son‑oc, Lahug, Cebu City, with a special focus on the children of the community and  local Day Care Center. Around 145 schoolchildren aged 4 to 12 years old received nutritious meals.  This was followed by the distribution of children’s joy packages and parlor games, turning the day into one of joy, solidarity, and care.

The initiative was part of the organization’s continuing advocacy to uplift vulnerable communities through practical, people‑centered programs. For many of the children, the event was not only a chance to enjoy a hearty meal but also a reminder that their community is supported and valued.

Partnerships That Made It Possible

The feeding program and gift-giving were made possible through the support of international partners and local leaders. Special thanks were extended to Sir Flo Coronel, KCR, Chapter Commander of the Knights of Rizal – District 30 Chapter NY, and Dr. Catalina Suerte, Chapter President of Uniffied – NJ Chapter, whose contributions ensured the success of the event.

On the ground, the program was assisted by the Day Care Center School Teacher, Ms. Jocelyn C. Barina, and the Officers & Members of the Board of Trustees of the Son‑oc Homeowners Association, Inc., led by its President, Mr. Achilles “Kit” Coronel, who also serves as Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Blasert Force 568 Inc. Their coordination and volunteer efforts provided the logistical backbone for the day’s activities.

A Day of Community Spirit

Residents of Sitio Son‑oc gathered not only to receive meals but to celebrate the spirit of bayanihan — the Filipino tradition of communal unity and cooperation. Parents expressed gratitude for the program, noting its importance in supporting children’s health and well‑being.

For Blasert Force 568 Inc., the event underscored its mission to combine advocacy with action, ensuring that programs reach those who need them most.

Looking Ahead

The organization reaffirmed its commitment to continue similar initiatives in other communities, emphasizing that feeding programs are not just about food but about nourishing hope, dignity, and solidarity.
