Blasert Force 568 Inc., participated in the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Civil Society Organization (CSO) 1st Annual Conference. Its participation was more than an institutional milestone. It was a reaffirmation of its deep roots in community advocacy. Held virtually via Google Meet on May 13–14, 2026, the conference brought together accredited CSOs nationwide to strengthen collective action against illegal drugs.
The opening program set a tone of unity and purpose. ASEC Renato A. Gumban, Chairman of the PDEA Accreditation Committee, welcomed participants with a message underscoring the indispensable role of civil society in complementing government-led initiatives. His words resonated strongly with organizations like Blasert Force 568 Inc., whose work is grounded in empowering local communities to resist the lure of drugs through education, awareness, and grassroots mobilization.
A keynote address by Dr. Josephine Choong Lean Keow of the Colombo Plan Drug Advisory Program highlighted the importance of preventive education. This theme echoed Blasert Force 568 Inc.’s ongoing efforts to engage families, schools, and barangays in conversations that build resilience and promote healthier choices. The organization’s commitment was further reinforced during the Presentation of Commitments, where it pledged to expand outreach programs and strengthen partnerships with local leaders to ensure that anti-drug advocacy reaches even the most vulnerable sectors.
The second day of the conference continued with more pledges from CSOs, culminating in closing remarks by DIR Restie R. Lamorena, Director of PECIS, who commended the active participation of all organizations. For Blasert Force 568 Inc., the event was a reminder that meaningful change begins at the community level, where trust, dialogue, and shared responsibility can create lasting impact.
Blasert Force 568 Inc.’s participation was led by its Founder, Chairman & CEO Achilles “Kit” Coronel, CPA; Associate Director for Membership, Education, Training & Development (METDev) Osias R. Cartagena, Jr.; Associate Director for Finance/Livelihood, Reynald F. Baylon; Associate Director for Legal Affairs Casimero B. Millanes and National Logistics & Intel Officer Gerly G. Catadman.
By joining this inaugural conference, Blasert Force 568 Inc. not only aligned itself with PDEA’s national vision but also amplified its grassroots mission: to stand alongside families, youth, and communities in building a safer, drug-free Philippines. The organization’s participation underscored a simple but powerful truth—lasting solutions to the drug problem are born in the everyday lives of people, nurtured by collective action, and sustained by unwavering commitment.
Blasert Force 568 Inc. extends its appreciation and gratitude to the support it received from the Cebu City Police Office – Advisory Group for Police Transformation & Development (CCPO – AGPTD), led by its Chairperson, Mrs. Marlinda Angbetic-Tan; the Knights of Rizal – District 30 NY Chapter led by its Commander, KCR Flo Coronel and the United Federation of Fil-Am Educators (UNIFFIED) – New Jersey Chapter led by its President, Dr. Catalina V. Suerte. We look forward to their continued support in the achievement of our 2026 plans and commitments to PDEA.
