Blasert Force 568 Inc. Joins PDEA’s National CSO Online Conference

November 25, 2025 — Blasert Force 568 Inc. proudly participated in the PDEA (National) CSO Online Conference hosted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), reaffirming our commitment to civic advocacy, drug prevention, and human rights. The conference, held via Google Meet, brought together accredited civil society organizations (CSOs) from across the country to deepen collaboration and share insights on national drug policy.
Day 1 Highlights: Opening Program & Lecture Series
The opening program on November 24 featured welcome remarks from ASEC Israel Ephraim T. Dickson, Deputy Director General for Administration, and a keynote message from ASEC Renato A. Gumban, Deputy Director General for Operations and Chairman of the PDEA Accreditation Committee. Their messages underscored the vital role of CSOs in shaping community-based responses to drug challenges.
The lecture series included:
Volunteering for Drug Prevention Speaker: Executive Director Donald James Gawe, Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA) Focus: Strengthening volunteerism as a civic tool for prevention and rehabilitation.
Prevention Science Speaker: Prof. Francis Grace Duka-Pante, ASEAN Training Center for Preventive Drug Education (ATCPDE) Focus: Evidence-based strategies for youth engagement and behavioral change.
Human Rights and Drug Policy Speaker: Atty. Julie Ann Regalado, Commission on Human Rights (CHR) Focus: Balancing enforcement with rights-based approaches to drug policy.
CSO Breakout Sessions: November 25–28
Blasert Force 568 Inc. actively joined the CSO Breakout Sessions beginning November 25, engaging in thematic discussions on community mobilization, policy feedback, and inter-agency coordination. B-Force 568 will be back on November 27 for the Regional Workshop. These sessions provided a platform for grassroots organizations to share field realities and propose actionable reforms.
