Blasert Force 568 Inc., through its Founder and Chairman Achilles 'Kit' Coronel, presented its 2025 accomplishments and 2026 plans to the Preventive Education & Community Involvement (PECI) Directorate of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) National Headquarters. The presentation underscored the organization’s growing role in advancing drug abuse prevention education across communities and schools.
2025 Accomplishments
From April to September 2025, Blasert Force 568 Inc. successfully conducted 15 Drug Abuse Prevention Education (D.A.P.E.) lectures, reaching a total of 546 participants. These sessions empowered communities with knowledge about the dangers of illegal drugs, the importance of preventive education, and the role of collective action in safeguarding families and youth.
Plans for 2026
Kit Coronel outlined an ambitious roadmap for the coming year, emphasizing expansion, collaboration, and institutional alignment:
Day Care Centers in Lahug: Conduct D.A.P.E. lectures for parents to strengthen early preventive education at the family level.
All Sitios in Lahug: Roll out lectures in coordination with Barangay Anti‑Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) and Gender and Development (GAD) programs.
Abellana National High School: Integrate preventive education into the student body, reinforcing awareness among the youth.
Accredited Lecturers: Increase the number of trained and accredited lecturers to sustain program delivery.
Expansion to Other Cities/Municipalities: Partner with the Cebu Police Provincial Office (CPPO) and various Local Government Units (LGUs) to extend D.A.P.E. lectures beyond Cebu City.
DepEd Region 7 Coordination: Align with the National Drug Education Program (NDEP) for a broader roll‑out in schools across the region.
Highlight: The Advisory Council for the Elimination of Drugs (ACED)
The centerpiece of Blasert Force 568 Inc.’s 2026 vision is the proposal to establish the PDEA Advisory Council for the Elimination of Drugs (ACED).
Mission: Strengthen PDEA’s preventive education mandate by mobilizing multi‑sectoral support, resources, and community participation.
Vision: Achieve a drug‑free Region 7 where communities are resilient, informed, and united in protecting families and youth from the harms of illegal drugs. This will be realized through collective preventive education and sustainable partnerships.
Blasert Force 568 Inc.’s presentation to PDEA–PECI reflects its commitment to transforming preventive education into a community‑driven movement. With its 2025 milestones as proof of impact and its 2026 plans charting a bold path forward, the organization continues to stand at the forefront of civic advocacy, education, and resilience building.
