Borbon National High School Hosts Seminar on Drug Prevention, Leadership, and Management Skills

Borbon, Cebu – June 11, 2026 — Student leaders of Borbon National High School (BNHS) gathered today for a series of seminar lectures on Drug Abuse Prevention Education, the Drug-Free Workplace Program, and Leadership & Management Skills. The event was attended by leaders of the Supreme Secondary Learners Government (SSLG), Barkada Kontra Bisyo (BKB), and the Youth for Environmental in Schools Organization (YES-O), together with their respective advisers and other school teachers.
The program was spearheaded by BNHS Principal Atty. Renelyn Regis-Gagarino, who welcomed the initiative as a vital step in empowering youth leaders to champion drug-free lifestyles, responsible leadership, and environmental stewardship.
Key lectures were delivered by Mr. Achilles “Kit” Coronel, CPA, Founder, Chairman & CEO of Blasert Force 568 Inc. and Founding President of UNIFFIED – Cebu Chapter, alongside Mr. Osias R. Cartagena, Jr., Associate Director for Membership, Education, Training & Development (METDev) of Blasert Force and Executive Secretary & VP – Communications of UNIFFIED – Cebu Chapter.
The event was made possible through the support of UNIFFIED – Inglewood (CA) Chapter, represented by Engr. Richard Maghanoy, Executive Vice President of Uniffied Inc., and the Knights of Rizal – District 30 (NY) Chapter, led by Mr. Flo Coronel, Chapter Commander.
“This seminar is more than just a lecture — it is a call to action for our student leaders to become advocates of a drug-free community, responsible leadership, and environmental care,” said Mr. Coronel.
The collaboration underscores the shared commitment of local and international partners to strengthen youth leadership and community resilience in Cebu.
