Amidst a series of daily relief goods packing operations at VDRC - DSWD, gallant troopers of Blasert Force 568 Inc. struggled to the early-dawn wake-up to report for the Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) hands-only training with UNTV at the residence of our Legal Affairs Deputy Director, BFBGEN. Atty. Carmelita M. Terez (Fiscal Ret.) in Mandaue City.

The CPR hands-only training was designed during the Covid-19 pandemic situation to avoid the popular mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and lessen the chances of contracting the virus. This was participated by members of the Blasert Force 568 Inc. and some PA Reservist-trainees. It was conducted by expert, certified trainers of UNTV led by our Associate Director for Legal Affairs & UNTV NAR EMR Instructor, BF Col. Casimero B. Millanes, Retired Master Sgt. Joseph Fernandez - SAF Air Commando, NAR Cebu 2, Jerry Pilapil, Radio 1st class telephony NAR - Cebu North District, Mr. Joel Gullim - Chief auto- mechanic NAR Cebu Operations Officer, Mr. Darrel Ruz- Camera man NAR member & Ms. Amor Mia NAR member. The event was broadcasted worldwide thru the various UNTV channels.

We thank the UNTV crew for the valuable experience they shared with us and the wisdom we all absorbed which we could put into good use in emergency situations.

In return, Blasert Force 568 Inc. Founder & Chairman, BFGEN Achilles "Kit" Coronel invited the UNTV crew to visit the VDRC - DSWD in Tingub, Mandaue City to witness first-hand the voluntary works we are rendering in the relief goods packing operations. We had an orientation with UNTV in regards to the roles & functions of VDRC as a logistics arm in the supply chain management of the National Resource & Logistics Management Bureau of the DSWD. UNTV is happy to send 100 - 200 volunteers to assist in this endeavour and would be more than glad to sign a Memorandum of Agreement with VDRC - DSWD.

We thank Engr. Romnick Emmanuel M. Balasabas, Administrative Officer V, VDRC, DSWD R-7 for facilitating the orientation as well as Ma'm Anniebelle & Sir Jun for the warm accommodation accorded us. We're glad to have been collaborating closely with VDRC - DSWD R-7 in preparing the relief goods family food packs for distribution to those who are affected by calamities.
