Dangerous Drugs Destruction at Cosmopolitan crematorium.

Thursday, 14 Nov. 2024 saw the destruction of approx. PHP 489.4M worth of illegal drugs at the crematorium of the Cosmopolitan Funeral Homes in Junquera St., Cebu City.

The destruction was witnessed by officers, agents & staff of PDEA R-7 led by its Acting Regional Director, Alex M. Tablate, Police Regional Office (PRO R-7), Cebu City Police Office City Director, PCol. Antonietto Cañete, various RTC judges, Atty. Carmie A. Balana of the Public Attorney's Office (PAO), the Department of Justice (DOJ), ABC Pres. & City Councilor Franklyn Ong and Civil Society Organization.

CCPO - Advisory Group for Police Transformation & Development (CCPO - AGPTD) member, Mr. Achilles B. Coronel, attended the activity as one of the invited witnesses to the destruction, thru its Civil Society Organization, the Blasert Force 568 Inc. together with five (5) of its commissioned officers.

Guest speaker for the said activity was Hon. Ruelo Saladaga, Presiding Judge, of RTC Branch 69, Lapu-Lapu City.
