What’s hot on a Valentine’s Day?
It cannot get any hotter than standing at the Quadrangle of the Police Regional Office 7 (PRO-7) HQ at Camp Sergio Osmeña this morning as we attended the launching of the Emergency Alert Button App by PRO-7. Led by PNP Regional Director PBGEN REDRICO A MARANAN, the event was attended by the various City Directors, Provincial Directors and Police personnel from LCPO, MCPO, CCPO, CPPO & other areas.
The App is designed for quicker response in times of emergencies that with a push of a button, instantly communicates any type of emergency, while simultaneously connecting to on-site personnel, first responders and those involved to keep everyone informed and engaged throughout a situation.
GASA SA GUGMA (GIFT OF LOVE)
Towards mid-day, the CCPO – Advisory group proceeded to the Multi-purpose Hall to witness the turnover of 10 wheelchairs & 25-kg bag of rice each to the beneficiaries-- PNP personnel who suffered serious medical conditions.
Again led by PRO 7 Regional Director PBGEN REDRICO MARANAN & wife, Mrs. Eboneza M. Maranan, they were assisted by PBGEN BARTOLOME, PCOL CAÑETE & PCOL APUD. Other attendees to the event were Provincial Directors, City Directors and other officers of the PNP.
The CCPO – Advisory Group led by PLTCOL MIGUEL ANDEZA, Chief, CPSMU, is represented by Atty. Jose Glen Cabanas, Dean, USC Law School, Pastor Arnold Yee & Kit Coronel, Founder/Chairman of Blasert Force 568 Inc.
In behalf of its Chairperson, Mrs. Marlinda Angbetic-Tan. GEN. MARANAN thanked the Advisory Group for its continued support to the PNP as he personally stressed this to Kit Coronel during their one-on-one conversation.
