Cebu City, February 4, 2026 — The Apas National High School Principal’s Office hosted the ONE SAFE APAS: 360° Protection Against Drugs and Violence Partnership Meeting, bringing together educators, community leaders, law enforcement agencies, and civic organizations in a united stand against drug abuse and violence.
The program opened with remarks from school officials and campaign leaders, followed by collaboration speeches from guidance designates and child protection focal persons. The highlight of the event was the presentation of partner organizations, including the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Blasert Force 568 Inc., AADAC PHIL, the Cebu City LGBT Federation, and barangay representatives. Each group reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening prevention, protection, and education efforts across communities.
Representing Blasert Force 568 Inc., Founder, Chairman & CEO and member of the CCPO - Advisory Group for Police Transformation & Development, Mr. Achilles B. Coronel, CPA, delivered a message underscoring the importance of collective action:
“Good morning, everyone. On behalf of Blasert Force 568 Inc. and the CCPO - Advisory Group for Police Transformation & Development, I extend our deepest gratitude for the opportunity to stand alongside fellow advocates, educators, and community leaders in this vital campaign for a safer Apas. Today’s gathering is more than a meeting — it’s a convergence of shared purpose, where each voice, each organization, and each commitment adds strength to our collective stand against drugs and violence.
We believe that protection begins not just with policy, but with people — with the guidance counselors who listen, the barangay leaders who act, the volunteers who show up, and the students who choose to speak out. It begins with partnerships like this, where we move beyond silos and into synergy.
At Blasert Force, we’ve seen firsthand how civic engagement transforms communities. Whether it’s tree-growing in mountain barangays, martial arts for discipline and wellness, or rolling out performance incentives to empower volunteers — our work is rooted in action. And action, when shared, becomes impact.
We are proud to be part of this initiative, and we stand ready to contribute not just manpower, but mentorship. We encourage our members to pursue PDEA accreditation, to become educators in their own right, and to bring prevention efforts into every corner of their barangays.
Let this be the start of a sustained collaboration — one that doesn’t end with today’s MOA signing, but continues in classrooms, in homes, and in the hearts of our youth. Because nothing beats the indomitable spirit of passionate volunteers. And when that spirit is matched with structure, support, and solidarity, real change becomes inevitable.”
The event culminated in the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), formalizing the partnership among participating organizations. Closing remarks emphasized the shared responsibility of schools, communities, and civic groups in sustaining the campaign’s momentum.
With its theme of 360° Protection Against Drugs and Violence, ONE SAFE APAS marks a significant step toward building safer, more resilient communities. The collaboration reflects a growing recognition that prevention and protection are most effective when rooted in unity, volunteerism, and shared accountability.
