29 March 2025

Early morning trip from Cebu City to Barili town where we met with the other participants and proceeded to Balao, Barili to plant some trees.

This project was initiated by BFLT JAMES FRANCIS E ALSA, Barili Municipal Commander and was participated by HQ led by Founder & Chairman, Kit Coronel with participations from Lahug Base Command, Apas Base Command & Inayawan Base Command. We planted various Philippine native trees such as Narra, Molave, Guyabano, Banaba, Kamagong, etc.

It was a gloomy day with some rain showers and the soil is muddy, clayish and very sticky. Some of us removed their shoes and just went barefoot.

After the tree-planting, the group had a simple lunch consisting of rice, chicken adobo, bihon and some sweet potatoes and bananas.

Happy day knowing that we've somehow contributed to the greening of our community.
