Relief Goods Distribution Operations in Northern Cebu

Poblacion, Borbon Cebu | October 10, 2025

On October 10, 2025, Blasert Force 568 Inc. successfully conducted relief goods distribution operations in Poblacion, Borbon Cebu, with residents coming from the various Sitios & Barangays in Borbon. This event was made possible thru strong collaborations with Stronghold Insurance Co., Inc. and DEL Mini-mart. The joint effort aimed to provide essential supplies to residents affected by the strong earthquake which hit Northern Cebu last 30 September 2025.

The relief goods provided during the operation were carefully allocated to address the immediate needs of the community. The following items were distributed:

• Food Packs: 150 packs containing rice, canned goods, noodles, and other essentials.

• Tents: 50 units distributed to families requiring temporary shelter.

• Bottled Mineral Water: Over 1,000 bottles of 500 ml mineral water, ensuring access to safe drinking water for all recipients.

  
  

This initiative was a testament to the spirit of bayanihan, with DEL Mini-Mart providing logistical support, while Stronghold Insurance Co., Inc. contributed essential food items and tents.  Other resources (like food packs and bottled water) were provided for by Blasert Force 568 Inc. from its donation campaigns. The partnerships ensured the smooth and efficient delivery of relief goods to the target beneficiaries.

The distribution activity had a significant positive impact on the residents of Poblacion, Borbon Cebu and the nearby Barangays. The provision of food packs helped reduce food insecurity, tents offered temporary shelter for displaced families, and the supply of mineral water addressed immediate health and sanitation concerns. Community members expressed gratitude for the assistance and highlighted the importance of such collaborations during challenging times.

The relief operation conducted today in Poblacion, Borbon Cebu successfully met its objectives, thanks to the combined efforts of Stronghold Insurance Corp. and DEL Mini-mart. Continued support and partnerships like these are crucial in ensuring the welfare of communities during emergencies.
