Uniffied New Jersey Chapter Strengthens Brigada Eskwela at Borbon National High School

Borbon, Cebu — June 5, 2026 — The Uniffied New Jersey Chapter, led by President Dr. Catalina C. Suerte, proudly extended its support to the Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Borbon National High School. This initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Uniffied Cebu Chapter and Blasert Force 568, Inc., led by its President and Founder/Chairman Kit Coronel, underscoring the power of global-local partnerships in advancing education and community development.
The participation was coordinated through the efforts of Mr. Flo Coronel, National Public Relations Director, Uniffied Inc., who ensured strong representation from the diaspora community. Their involvement highlighted the enduring bayanihan spirit, bridging overseas support with local volunteerism.
Program of Activities
The June 5 Brigada Eskwela featured a series of impactful activities designed to prepare Borbon National High School for the upcoming academic year:
· Preparing and serving snacks/lunch for volunteers and participants.
· Repair of school chairs and tables to improve classroom facilities.
· Meeting with the School Principal, Atty. Renelyn A. Regis-Gagarino, together with the school’s NDEP Coordinator, Yes-O Adviser, SSLG Adviser, BKB Adviser, DRRM Coordinator, and Brigada Eskwela Coordinator.
During the meeting, discussions included the MOA signing and the school’s request for additional programs such as: Drug Abuse Prevention Education Lecture and Leadership Training scheduled for June 11, 2026, and Wushu-Martial Arts and Arnis Training scheduled for June 12, 2026.
These activities not only prepare the school for the academic year but also strengthened collaboration among stakeholders, educators, and community partners.
Global-Local Collaboration
The involvement of Uniffied New Jersey Chapter alongside Uniffied Cebu Chapter and Blasert Force 568, Inc. demonstrated how international support can amplify local initiatives. By combining resources and volunteer efforts, the partnership ensured that Borbon National High School is ready to welcome students in a safe and conducive learning environment.
Local support was also received from DEL Enterprises of Poblacion, Borbon, Cebu courtesy of BFCPT Airen Areja.

Dr. Suerte reaffirmed Uniffied’s mission to empower education and foster unity:
